Summary[edit]

Overwind is to the north of Dreisnane and technically the only nation bordering it (although Kumik would border Dreisnane if not for End's Well).
Overwind's average altitude is above Dreisnane, with a much rockier and hardier terrain, with fewer larger farms built around alluvial floodplains and fresh water springs. Kumik was at one point part of Overwind and still maintains good public relations to this day.

Overwind's population centers tend to favour pale stone dwellings and walls hewn from quarried andesite.

Dungeons in Overwind tend to be deeper and more agressive on rupture than Dungeons of Dreisnane, whether this is due to the increased altitude causing a rupture to take longer to happen on average, the hardier terrain, or something else is not known.

Overwind's primary monster concerns are various earthshapers that sometimes escape even from an unruptured dungeon, and Corvans, whose territorial nature and unknown ways of marking said territory often bring them into conflict with unwitting travellers, merchants, and sooner or later adventurers or soldiers.
Overwind's military is more focused towards humanoid targets and has recently made peace with Arantos. Overwind's postal service is supported directly by the ruling houses and is considered ground-breaking in its effectiveness.

Hats: Stern, close-knit communities, earth spiritualism more in youth than adults.
Flaws: More or less self-sufficient but economically poor, mining while avoiding breaches being a special kind of terror.
